KATHY RILEY

DIRECTOR OF BUDGET AND RESOURCE PLANNING

Kathy Riley received her B.A. in 1994 from Eastern Illinois University , and her M.Ed. in Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002.

Kathy began her career at the University of Illinois in 1988 in the School of Architecture in the administrative offices. Kathy's duties ranged from assisting with special events to coordinating promotion and tenure for the 50+ faculty in the department.

In her current role, Kathy is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement to include budget and human resource responsibilities. She is responsible for working on special projects, such as the Carillon Project, Provost Matching Fellowship and maintaining a list of all endowed positions on the Urbana-Champaign campus. Kathy also serves as Finance Team Coordinator for the Swanlund Shared Service Center .

Kathy has two children and lives in Monticello with her husband, Chuck. She is active in the Monticello Athletic Boosters and enjoys watching her son play football. She and her husband are avid sports fans and follow the Illini.
